2010 Personal Income Tax Information
If you're looking for an update on your 2010 income tax refund, visit www.oregonrefund.com.

Processing of 2010 returns and issuing of refunds began in January. If you filed electronically, you will receive your refund four to 10 days after processing begins. If you filed a paper return, please wait four to six weeks before checking the status of your refund.

To check the status of your refund, you will need:

1. Social Security number (either one on a joint return); and
2. Filing status (single, joint, head of household, or married filing jointly); and
3. The exact amount in whole dollars of the refund you requested on your return.

If we have processed your return, the system will tell you we are issuing your refund. If the system tells you your return information is not available, it doesn't mean we haven't received your return, only that it is still being processed. Do not file another return. Please wait another week before checking again.

We strive to make sure refunds and tax calculations are accurate. There are checks and balances within our return-processing systems that require us to manually review some returns before we issue refunds. Your refund may be delayed if it needs further review. If you receive a letter from us requesting more information, please respond as soon as possible. This will speed up the processing of your return and your refund.

For information about tax-to-pay returns, amended returns, or returns for years other than 2010, call during business hours to speak to a customer service representative.
