Department of Fish and Wildlife
The Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) is responsible for protecting and enhancing all Oregon fish and wildlife. The agency has a wide range of responsibilities from operating hatcheries to selling hunting and angling licenses to advising on habitat protection for Oregon's diverse wildlife populations. ODFW works closely with other agencies, volunteers, property owners, hunters and anglers to balance protection of fish and wildlife with the economic, social and recreational needs of Oregonians.
