Adult Day Services/Care Adult day care can provide respite care as well as ongoing services. Learn more about this program.
Network of Care The Network of Care is Oregon's first-ever comprehensive Web-based directory of local services for seniors and people with disabilities. The site will help all Oregonians find answers to questions about adult care facilities, Alzheimer's, end-of-life care, health care, care giving, nutrition, home repair, recreation, transportation and much more. Oregon Lifespan Respite Care Program Respite care services give families and other caregivers temporary relief from providing care for frail adults. Companionship, light assistance, recreational activities and security are provided in your home, out of the home in a group setting, or overnight in a residential setting. Respite care fosters a healthier quality of life for both the caregiver and care receiver.
Oregon Home Care Commission (OHCC) The Commission is responsible for ensuring the quality of home care services that are funded by the Department of Human Services for seniors and people with disabilities. The OHCC Registry and Referral System matches consumer-employers with available homecare workers. The Registry will assist employers to find and hire homecare workers by providing information about potential employees. The system can also assist with emergency and respite referrals.
Needs assessment and case management When you or someone you care about needs more help than you have available, or if you are thinking about nursing home care, we can help you sort out the choices that may be available to you. We can also give you facts about care costs and help you plan so that you get the most for your money.
