Veto Polls ~ 2011 Legislature

The Secretary of State is charged with polling members of the legislature on certain bills vetoed by the Governor after the session has ended.  Only those bills that were approved by two-thirds of the members voting on the final vote on the bill are subject to the poll.

At least 2/3 of each house must vote "For" in order to override a veto ~ 67 in the House and 34 in the Senate.

Click on the bill number to read a full text of the bill.

Click on "For" or "Against" to see how individual legislative members voted.
Poll results are available only after polling has closed on a bill.
