New Form Required for Graduate Assistants |
Graduate Assistants are responsible for completing a Bar of Claims Form.
This requirement is for anyone hired or rehired on 5/22/11 or after. This includes any one on the grad assistant payroll that has been here previously but is being rehired for next semester. |
GRE General Test |
Applicants who need their GRE scores before November 2011 should take the current GRE General Test before August 2011.

Congratulation to Dr. Carrie Byron (FAVS; Major Professor Dr. Barry A. Costa-Pierce). Carrie was awarded the 2011 University of Rhode Island Graduate School Excellence in Doctoral Research Award in the STEM area. Her dissertation title was Carrying Capacity of Bivalve Aquaculture.
Congratulation to Dr. Matthew Ortoleva (English/Writing & Rhetoric; Major Professor Dr. Nedra Reynolds). Matthew was awarded the 2011 University of Rhode Island Graduate School Excellence in Doctoral Research Award in the non-STEM area. His dissertation title was The Rhetorics of Place and Ecological Relationships:
The Rhetorical Construction of Narragansett Bay.
