Housing & Meals
All students should carefully read the MBL Student Housing and Dining Information Sheet (.pdf) as it contains important conditions and regulations that apply to all MBL housing.
The MBL provides bed linens, one blanket, bath towel, hand towels, and washcloths, but does not supply soap, beach towels, extra bath towels or extra blankets. Dormitory linens are changed once a week and towels twice a week. Cottage and apartment occupants receive linens upon arrival only and are responsible for laundering linens during their stay. Coin-operated laundry facilities are available in the basesments of Ebert Hall dormitory, the Brick Apartment building and the first floor of Swope.
Meals are served in the Swope Dining Room, which is open from 7:00 - 8:30 A.M., 11:30 A.M. - 1:00 P.M., and 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Monday through Saturday. Any changes in hours are posted outside the Dining Room. Vegetarian options are available at every meal. A meal card must be presented at each meal. Rooms are not available without board, however, weekly board contracts are available to all individuals officially registered at MBL. Meals for guests may be purchased on an individual basis. The MBL issues no credits for early departures or meals not taken.
