Path to Major Dam Removal and Restoration Effort Begins on Klamath River
With the announcement of a settlement agreement to remove four dams on the Klamath River, the path to the world’s biggest river restoration effort has begun. The comprehensive restoration effort in the Klamath will give salmon renewed access to 300 miles of historic habitat, and will help revitalize the basin’s fishing and farming communities.
