Local Governments

Local governments are critical partners in restoring and protecting their local waterways and, in turn, the Chesapeake Bay. Local government officials can check out Bay LOGIN (Local Government Information Network), a free Internet service that includes news flashes, a newsletter, queries, and surveys soliciting local government input on Bay issues, and a listserv for local governments to share information on water resource issues. Indeed, there are many ways local governments can help protect and restore the Bay.
