Is Your College or University Part of the Game Day Challenge?
College football season has kicked off, and so has EPA’s Game Day Challenge, a competition to see which college or university can reduce the most waste at their football games. In October, colleges and universities will implement waste reduction programs during a home football game. Schools will track and report recycling and waste data that will then be used to rank the schools, and winners will be announced in November. Registration for the Challenge is open through September 30, 2010.
