Overall Rating
This pie chart shows the distribution of red, yellow, and green Overall Ratings for all investments included in the displayed portfolio. By default this shows all major investments in the Federal IT portfolio. Visit the FAQs for details on how Overall Rating is calculated.
Rating History
For the displayed portfolio, Cost, Schedule, and Evaluation (by agency CIO) ratings show the change over time of the average of each of these ratings. The pie charts indicate the relative count of investments rated red, yellow, or green for each of these three ratings.
Evaluation by Agency CIO
The agency CIO evaluates every investment and assigns a score from 1-5, which is factored into its Overall Rating. Visit the FAQs for details on the factors CIOs use to rate an investment and how the Evaluation by Agency CIO impacts the Overall Rating.
Cost Rating
Cost rating is calculated as the variance between the actual costs of an investment’s milestones and their planned costs to date in dollars as a percentage of the milestone’s total costs. Visit the FAQs for details on how the IT Dashboard calculates Cost and Schedule ratings and factors them into the Overall Rating.
Schedule Rating
Schedule rating is calculated as the variance between the investment’s planned and actual progress so far, in days as a percentage of the scheduled work so far. Visit the FAQs for details on how the IT Dashboard calculates Cost and Schedule rating and factors them into the Overall Rating.
