Please never feel embarrassed to see a dermatologist. They will put you at ease and know this is something they have seen before.
If you are more comfortable, see your gynecologist first to get an opinion.

If this is so, are there therapies to prevent/improve stretch marks based on anti-glucocorticoid medication? I am aware that the endocrine system is feedback-based, and so lowering a chemical may only tell your body to produce more because it senses a deficiency; thus, this may ultimately be a stupid question.
However, am curious to see what research has been done on the underlying chemical causes of stretch marks in regards to preventing them.
Thank you.View Thread

Use a moisturizing undereye cream with 5% Vitamin K.
Take a supplement with Vitamin K (80mg for males, 65mg for females). Try a combination if retinol (Vit A) and Vit K creams; use the retinol cream every other night and the Vit K cream nightly.

I just came across an app for this, Sun Alert. You enter your skin type, SPF of the sunscreen you are using and your location.
It calculates an estimate of how much time before you burn. May be a handy tool to let you know when to reapply.
What do you think?

Since then I've had about 5 small blisters on the outside of my right wrist for about 3 and a half weeks. They itch for about 3 days and then go down and are fine for a few days, and then pop back up. They have a clear fluid inside of them. I am noticing a few more small ones nearby and also one on my knuckle on that hand. I don't have them anywhere else. I started doing some research online, which I know isn't always the best thing to do as it tends to freak you out, but I was wondering if this could be the eczema coming out on my hands or if it's scabies. Is there a way to tell the difference? No one I've come in contact with has gotten anything and I know scabies is highly contagious. Can someone offer any input?View Thread

This is a very interesting question. In my practice I have many patients taking Biotin, which is the major ingredient in the hair vitamins, and while they often get thicker hair and stronger nails, no one has complained of excessive body hair growth.View Thread
My skin has always been this way since I was a kid, it's really effecting my self esteem badly. Could it be a hormonal imbalance? Would lactic acid peels fix this problem?
By the way I am biracial if that has anything to do with it. I am 18 too.

It could also be psoriasis.. Neither of the two are anything big to worry about besides they dont go away. hydrocortisone with steroids is what theyll give u for the eczema the over the counter does not work.. Good luckView Thread
Pores are found on the skin predominantly in areas of increased oil glands. This is because the pore is actually where the hair follicle opens to the surface of the skin and provides the oil gland with a secretory outlet.
Genetics, acne, hormones, increased oil production, and improper cleansing may all influence the size of ones pores. Proper cleansing with an exfoliating wash, use of glycolic products, and laser toning can all help to decrease pore size.View Thread
Do your homework, a lot of products don't have all the studies to prove their effective, that is why we love this line. It's only one we carry.
Good luck!View Thread

Ouch! Sunburn is no fun!
You may want to give your doctor a quick call to see if they think this is something they should check out. In the meantime, this information about Sunburn , may be helpful.
This discussion by Annie, How Do You Pick a Sunscreen? , is a great resource to check out before venturing out again.
