Martin J. Wygod has, since May 2005, served as Chairman of the Board of WebMD. From March 2001 until our merger with HLTH Corporation, our former parent company, in October 2009, Mr. Wygod served as HLTH's Chairman of the Board and served as a member of its Board of Directors from September 2000 until the HLTH merger. Mr. Wygod also served as HLTH's Acting Chief Executive Officer from February 2008 until the HLTH merger and as its Chief Executive Officer from September 2000 until May 2003. He is also engaged in the business of racing, boarding and breeding thoroughbred horses, and is President of River Edge Farm, Inc.
