Byron Tau is a reporter.

Before joining POLITICO, he was a freelance reporter and intern whose work has appeared in Roll Call, The New Republic, the National Journal, AOL News, Politics Daily and the Washington City Paper.

He is a graduate of McGill University in Montreal, but definitely is not Canadian. He also is a graduate of Georgetown University's journalism Masters program. Byron is a recovering music buff, an ex-bartender and a fan of the Washington Nationals since the days when they were still called the Montreal Expos.
