About News Media Partnerships The Foundation in partnership with other organizations, such as research institutions, universities, and media outlets, conducts and commissions original survey research on a wide range of topics related to health policy and public health, as well as major social issues. The goal of these surveys is to better understand the public's knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors and to amplify the public's voice in national debates. Representatives of the sponsoring organizations work closely with the Foundation to develop the survey questions and analyze the results.

The Washington Post/Kaiser Family Foundation/Harvard University Survey Project
This project is a joint partnership and an experiment in combining survey research and reporting to better inform the public by designing and analyzing surveys examining public knowledge, perceptions, and misperceptions on major issues facing the country to educate, inform, and engage citizens in national debates.

NPR/ Kaiser Family Foundation/Harvard School of Public Health Survey Project
This survey project is a joint partnership whose goal is to better understand public opinion on a range of health-related issues facing the nation. Representatives of the three organizations work together to select topics, develop the survey questionnaire and analyze the results, with NPR maintaining editorial control over all its broadcasts on the surveys.
