The Service Request (or SR) number is given whenever you call or use 311 Online to create an SR. You may enter the full 10 digit number (08-00001254) or leave off the year and extra zeros (1254).
The Type Code is essentially the type of service being requested. You will notice that these are prefaced with a character code, this represents the Agency the service is assigned to.
The Location or address the service was requested to be performed at.
The description of the service requested. This can include answers to the scripted questions from each SR type and descriptive comments from 311 Agents or Operations staff.
The date and time the SR was created.
Based on the date the SR was created and the duration of the SR, this is the date the SR should be completed by. Many of our SRs are investigative and follow up SRs are created that define the type of work that needs to be done. Those will show up as Linked SRs below the Outcome.
The status of the request: New – usually means the SR has not been assigned to a work crew; Open – the request has been acknowledged by the owning Agency and usually has been assigned; Pending – the request has been assigned and may be waiting for parts or other resource availability; Closed – this stage of the request has been completed, if additional work needs to be done the SR will show up as Linked below.
The date and time the status last changed.
The last activity or task performed on this request. N/A indicates the request has no activity available to display.
The outcome of the activity performed. N/A indicates the request has no outcome to display.
