HRSA Geospatial Data Warehouse (HGDW)
Information and Communications
Health Center, ...
HRSA Geospatial Data Warehouse (HGDW): The HRSA Geospatial Data Warehouse (HGDW) provides a single point of access to current HRSA information, health resources, and demographic data for reporting on HRSA activities. The HGDW promotes information sharing and collaboration among HRSA staff, HRSA partners, health planners and policy makers, as well as HRSA stakeholders. The HGDW provides quick access to information that includes: - Find A Health Center - includes search-by-address capabilities, maps and driving directions; - Identify HRSA Grants by Key Program Area or State; - Locate Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) by address; - Identify HPSAs eligible for Medicare Physician Bonus Payment; - Locate Medically Underserved Areas and Population (MUA/P) groups by address; and - Locate National Health Service Corps Job Opportunities. In addition, the HGDW provides the ability to explore data and maps that include: - Reports - traditional text-based reporting of the data is available in the HGDW. Users can select, sort, export and view the data either by spreadsheet or preformatted reports; - Maps - visually explore the HRSA-specific information, health resources and demographic data in geographic relation to one another; - Map Data Services - utilize data from the HGDW to create custom maps and incorporate your own data; and - Downloads - ability to download data on Health Professional Shortage Areas, Primary Care Service Areas, and National Sample Survey of Registered Nurses. The HGDW data content and functionality are continually evolving so a What's New page is made available.

Multipurpose Marine Cadastre-2010 National Scale Authoritative Ocean Data and Information
Geography and Environment
CMSP, marine protected areas, regional marine GIS, ...
The NOAA Coastal Services Center (CSC) and the DOI Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement (BOEM), in cooperation with federal and state partners, have created a GIS-based marine information system for U.S. waters. The Multipurpose Marine Cadastre (MMC) data viewer is an integrated marine information system that provides legal, physical, ecological, and cultural information in a common geographic information system (GIS) framework. In particular, the MMC would be beneficial to those involved in coastal and marine spatial planning efforts that involve finding the best location for renewable energy projects. Users pick the ocean geography of their choosing and quickly see the applicable jurisdictional boundaries, restricted areas, laws, critical habitat locations, and other important features. With the MMC, potential conflicts can be identified and avoided early in the planning process. The MMC is also a helpful tool in the permit review process. All organizations considering an offshore activity can benefit from this comprehensive, visual approach to data analysis.

Cancer Incidence - Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Registries Limited-Use
Health and Nutrition
Lymphocytic Leukemia, Other Female Genital Organs, ...
SEER Limited-Use cancer incidence data with associated population data. Geographic areas available are county and SEER registry. The Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program of the National Cancer Institute collects and distributes high quality, comprehensive cancer data from a number of population-based cancer registries. Data include patient demographics, primary tumor site, morphology, stage at diagnosis, first course of treatment, and follow-up for vital status. The SEER Program is the only comprehensive source of population-based information in the United States that includes stage of cancer at the time of diagnosis and survival rates within each stage.

U. S. Department of Energy (DOE) Categorical Exclusion (CX) Determinations Under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
Geography and Environment
Water, ORP, Pollutant, Los Alamos, Western, ...
To further transparency and openness, DOE established a policy to document and post online all CX determinations involving classes of actions listed in Appendix B to Subpart D of the DOE NEPA regulations (10 CFR Part 1021). The database contains CX determinations required to be posted under the policy, and also some for which documentation and posting are optional, i.e., determinations involving classes of actions listed in Appendix A or made before the policy's effective date of November 2, 2009. The database may be searched by state, CX applied, date range, DOE Program, Field, or Site Office, keyword, and whether the CX determination is for a project related to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (Recovery Act or ARRA) of 2009. Links to CX determination documents are provided. The database will be updated approximately monthly. See http://www.gc.doe.gov/NEPA/categorical_exclusion_determinations.htm for information on DOE CX procedures. For further information on DOE's NEPA compliance program, see http://www.gc.energy.gov/nepa or email: askNEPA@hq.doe.gov.
