EFS Web Outage
Network Maintenance
Several servers associated with the following AISs will be relocated within the USPTO Production Datacenter causing an outage starting at 12:01 a.m. and ending at 3 a.m. Sunday, May 8:
- EFS-Web
- PRIVATE_PAIR
- Vendor Self Service
External/Public users will not be able to access EFS-Web, PRIVATE_PAIR, Vendor Self Services, or public video posted by USPTO.
EFS-Web outage
USPTO will be performing system maintenance, EFS-Web will be unavailable on Sunday, May 8, from 12:01 a.m. until 4 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
Applicants can file new patent applications via EFS-Web Contingency.
However, the following will not be available:
- Saved submissions
- Follow-on submissions to an existing application, including ePetitions for automatic processing
