Krejci scores in overtime to give Bruins 2-0 series lead
David Krejci scored 14:00 into overtime and the Boston Bruins beat Philadelphia 3-2 on Monday night to take a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinal series. Krejci fired a one-timer from one knee that ricocheted off the back off the net and back onto the ice. Play continued until officials could review the call, but the goal was clearly good. Joe Johnson scored 34 points and the Atlanta Hawks beat Derrick Rose and the top-seeded Chicago Bulls 103-95 on Monday night in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. As if the loss itself wasn't bad enough, the Bulls got a major scare when Rose came up limping at the end of the game. Game 2 is Wednesday night at the United Center. Full Story.

The prognosis for UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre's eye is looking good. "He's going to be fine," trainer Firas Zahabi told The Canadian Press on Monday. "He's got to take 10 days off. There was some bleeding inside the eye from the fight." St-Pierre complained of visions problems in his left eye during his decision win over Jake Shields at UFC 129 on Saturday. Full Story.
