Pay hike might not go in pockets

ARGYLE — School district employees will receive pay increases in September that may or may not be reflected in their paychecks. The Argyle school board has approved a $500 pay increase for employees on the teacher salary schedule and a 2 percent raise for all other district employees. Board members voted 6-0 on the proposal at Monday’s meeting.
