Help build a smarter, greener, more sustainable Maryland by putting proactive environmental practices to work right in your own organization. The Maryland Green Registry is a free, voluntary program offering tips and resources to help organizations set and meet their own goals on the path to sustainability.
The checklists provided here (see topics in the left margin) suggest dozens of opportunities for your organization to minimize its impact on the environment. Many are simple, common-sense operational changes and almost all of them can save you money. Choose the ones appropriate to your organization and let us know what you are doing so that we can help you get the recognition you deserve. Profiles of the Maryland Green Registry members are posted online to demonstrate the environmental commitment of these organizations and inspire others to take similar steps. Members are also invited to use the Maryland Green Registry logo to promote their participation in the program.
So whether you’re just getting started in greening your facility or are looking to push your environmental program to the next level, join the Maryland Green Registry to demonstrate your commitment to a strong, proactive approach to environmental management.
