Float plans save lives.  Now world’s most effective float plan offers unprecedented flexibility, and ease of use.

Gone are the days of having to prepare a float plan from scratch each and every time you go boating. Now, you can do it all electronically, using Adobe Reader version 8 or later. You can set up a basic plan ahead of time and save it. Update it when you decide where you’re going to go. Then e-mail the completed plan to whoever you choose to follow up should you not return or check-in as planned.

Here are some of the additional features you’ll find with the new Float Plan:

  • Drop down lists that let you easily see all of your choices,

  • Updated fields and options reflecting the latest Department of Homeland Security changes and U.S. Coast Guard search and rescue information needs,

  • Improved Itinerary readability,

  • More user defined fields for greater flexibility,

  • Pop-up notes when you hover over a field provide guidance on what to enter,

  • Built-in spelling checker,

  • Enhanced Boating Emergency Guide™ to better guide the holder of your plan in beginning the Search And Rescue process,

  • Digital paper is better for the environment.  And being GREEN is always good.

Saving lives is what the float plan is all about.  Using the new USCG float plan will help in saving your life Its free from America's Volunteer Guardians, the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.  Safety is simple, if you have a plan.
