NEW YORK-The Coast Guard Cutter Ridley, a patrol boat homeported in Montauk, N.Y., patrols and enforces security zones in the East River during the United Nations General Assembly, Sept. 20, 2010.
The Coast Guard enforces these security zones to maximize safety for all in attendance to the General Assembly.

Rear Adm. Neptun leads all Coast Guard forces in the Northeast, an area of responsibility that stretches from New Jersey to Maine. The cutter Sturgeon Bay is homeported in Bayonne, N.J.
