10/20 - The Governor signed multiple legislative bills, formally implementing comprehensive pension reform for the people of California. Together, the bills implement a public pension system that is fair to both the employees and also to the taxpayers and will help ensure California’s future fiscal health. |
 11/24 - Thanksgiving is all about giving back and showing gratitude. And, I can tell you, that no one is more grateful and appreciative than an immigrant like me because I came to this country more than forty years ago - I remember it was 1968 - right before Thanksgiving. |

12/3 - As you may have heard, California faces again a potential six billion dollar deficit in the current fiscal year which, by the way, ends on June 30 of 2011. I will call an emergency special session of the legislature and this will allow us to address the problem immediately which is so important.
