Coast Guard Acquisition Media Roundtable Scheduled for Dec. 13, 2010

WASHINGTON — Members of the press are invited to join senior leadership of the U.S. Coast Guard’s Acquisition Directorate in a Media Roundtable on Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in room 11-1129 of the Jemal Riverside Building, 1900 Half St., SW, Washington, D.C. 20593.

Assistant Commandant for Acquisition Rear Adm. Ronald J. Rábago will provide an update on Coast Guard acquisition, including recapitalization over the past year, as well as future priorities. The recently awarded contract for production of the fourth National Security Cutter will also be discussed.
