Posted by pinkpig on[$31,500] sounds like just a small amount for Buffet's house, but remember that we are talking about a five bedroom house bought in 1958. In 1956 my parents bought a 3 bedroom house on 1/4 acre in Sunnyvale, CA for $16,000. The same size house was going for $400,000 in the early 1980's.
