La Porte residents who find plastic soda bottles containing an unidentified liquid should leave them alone, police say. These bottles could be homemade chemical bombs.

A public meeting to discuss potential corridors for future transit services and the general public transportation needs is set for 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pasadena Civic Center, 7902 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena.
