Cops: Big Ben & Accuser Went Bar Hopping

Ben Roethlisberger and the woman accusing him of sexual assault visited "multiple establishments" together before the alleged incident, this according to the Milledgeville Police Department.

Milledgeville Deputy Police Chief Richard Malone just concluded a news conference, confirming Roethlisberger is at the center of a sexual assault investigation that allegedly took place at the Capital City nightclub.

According to police, the alleged victim is a 20-year-old female student from Georgia College & State University.

Police say the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback was interviewed and released and thus far has not been charged with a crime.

Ben's agent claims Roethlisberger did nothing wrong.

Big Ben's Agent -- Skeptical of Motive

Ben Roethlisberger's agent has just released a statement about the sexual assault investigation involving his client -- in which he claims the allegation "appears to be dismissed."

Ben's agent, Ryan Tollner, told ProFootballTalk.com, "Last night, Ben and his friends met a group of women and everyone mingled together throughout the evening."

Tollner added, "We have spoken to law enforcement. Based on information currently available, an allegation was made against Ben, which appeared to be dismissed after a preliminary investigation last night. Obviously, given the prior accusation against Ben, we are skeptical of motive, but we will continue to cooperate with everyone involved."

The Milledgeville Police Department is holding a news conference to address the situation in just a few minutes.

Dr. Drew's Alleged Stalker Pleads Not Guilty

Dr. Drew Pinsky's alleged stalker Charles Pearson just pled not guilty to six felonies -- one count stalking and five counts of criminal threats.

During Pearson's arraignment, which took place moments ago in Pasadena, CA, his bail was upped to $400,000.

A protective order was also issued, which states Pearson must stay 500 yards away from Dr. Drew, his wife and children for three years.

Pearson -- who was arrested on Wednesday at Pierce College in Woodland Hills after he allegedly sent Dr. Drew threatening messages over the Internet -- is due back in court on March 18.

Big Ben Parties Before Alleged Incident

Ben Roethlisberger partied at a bar in Milledgeville, Georgia until 1:30 AM this morning -- before he allegedly sexually assaulted a young woman at a nearby nightclub ... and TMZ has learned dude partied with a posse.

Ben rolled over to a bar called The Brick around 11:30 PM last night -- and sources inside the place tell us he was more than generous with the drinks .... buying round after round for his friends and some of the bar patrons.

We're told Ben arrived to the place with several large men including Pittsburgh Steelers teammate Willie Colon.

Sources say Ben was friendly inside the bar, chatting with fans and even posing for pictures until he picked up and left around 1:30 AM.

As we first reported, Roethlisberger eventually headed over to the Capital City club where the alleged incident went down.

According to the report, Ben's reps, "wouldn't comment as to whether Roethlisberger was in fact accused of sexual assault, just that the allegations were untrue and the events in question did not happen."

As TMZ first reported, a young woman accused Big Ben of sexually assaulting her in the women's bathroom of a local nightclub early this morning.

So far, no charges have been filed.

TMZ has learned Roethlisberger spent some time at the Velvet Elvis in Georgia last night -- before heading over to the Capital City Club ... where the Steelers QB allegedly sexually assaulted a young woman in the bathroom.

According to people at the Velvet Elvis, Ben was very friendly inside his establishment -- even taking pictures with fans. We're also told Ben was "not inappropriate at all" -- though we're told Ben did have one beer while inside.

Ben Roethlisberger Accused of Sexual Assault

Ben Roethlisberger Sexual AssaultPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been accused of sexual assault by a young woman in Georgia, TMZ has learned.

The alleged incident occurred early this morning at Capital City -- a club in Milledgeville, Georgia.

According to law enforcement sources, the alleged victim -- who has already been interviewed by police -- was treated at a local hospital and released.

We're told in addition to the alleged victim, witnesses are being interviewed -- and one law enforcement source says they will attempt to interview Roethlisberger.

In addition to the Milledgeville Police Dept, we've learned the Georgia Bureau of Investigations is also investigating.

As we previously reported, Roethlisberger is being sued by a Reno woman, Andrea McNulty, who claims the QB sexually assaulted her in 2008.

UPDATE: We're told Ben Roethlisberger has already been interviewed by police. We're also told no formal charges have been filed at this point.

UPDATE 3:30 PM EST: A rep from the Steelers tells TMZ, "We are gathering information on this incident - until then we have no further comment."

Dr. Drew's Alleged Stalker Charged

Charles Pearson, the man accused of stalking Dr. Drew Pinsky, has been charged with one count of stalking and five counts of making criminal threats -- all felonies.

Pearson will be arraigned this afternoon and prosecutors will ask for bail to be set at $400,000.

Pearson was arrested on Wednesday after he allegedly sent Dr. Drew threatening messages over the Internet -- including one in which Pearson said he would kill Dr. Drew's children and make his wife eat them.

Pearson has been in custody since his arrest, held on $150,000 bail.
