The Coast Guard has requested all wireless providers to remove *CG used to reach the Coast Guard for maritime emergency assistance.

Discarded RadioBeacon Triggers False Alarm

Improperly discarded EPIRBs can lead to false distress calls and costly responses by rescuers.

Report your boating accidents.  It is your responsibility.


The U.S. Coast Guard hopes that you’re never involved in a boating accident. But Federal Law requires you as the operator to file a boating accident report with your State reporting authority if you are.
