Advice: Scherzer walked six batters, but the Twins couldn't make him pay for those mistakes and managed just three hits all night. The American League Cy Young Award candidate finishes the 2013 regular season with a 21-3 record, 2.90 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 240/56 K/BB ratio in 214 1/3 innings. He'll be a fantasy ace again in 2014.
Wed, Sep 25 RotoworldAdvice: Scherzer surrendered three runs on six hits over his six frames while walking one and punching out three. The 29-year-old right-hander had come up empty on his first four attempts to earn that elusive 20th victory, but the Tigers offense stepped up with plenty of support in this one. He now sits at 20-3 on the season with a 3.00 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 230/50 K/BB ratio through 207 1/3 innings. He'll certainly garner plenty of consideration for the AL Cy Young award this season.
