Sir. Tom has been in the game for as long as anyone still doing it at a pro level. He's hands down a skateboarding legend. Enough said. He brought "newschool" skateboarding to new levels with his switch skills and technical variations. Along with his talent on a board, he's had some of skateboarding's most iconic board graphics: Cheat and Chong, The Magical Mushroom and The Alice in Wonderland Caterpillar.
Tom's ability to remain mysterious is what has made him such a legend. His video parts are few and far in between, which may have something to do with the themes of his graphics, but when he does have a video section it is all time. Pick up a copy of Transworld's Anthology, and check out what he did to San Diego's Chain to Bank. In fact, Tom is so worshiped in skateboarding that Transworld actually just had a feature titled, "The Church of Tom Penny."
