Posting So DFW Moments via Email and Twitter

Posting Moments by Email

Posting Moments by email is easy:

1. Type the Moment in the body of a new email message.

2. Attach a photo.

3. Set the subject to one of the So DFW themes:

  • Check it
  • Confess
  • What the?

4. Send the message to your personal auto-publishing address. That's it!

What's my personal auto-publishing address?

Each user has a unique email address used to publish Moments. To view and customize your personal auto-publishing address, go to the User Settings page. Click Edit Account to go to your Profile page then select User Settings

Your personal auto-publishing address lets you post Moments safely using your username and a unique verification code. For example, to post a Moment to So DFW, user JGreenPark will send a Moment to the personal auto-publishing address JGreenPark.x9951@submit.nbcdfw.com.

Will Moments I post via email show in my profile?

Yes. Emailed-in Moments will display your username and will show in your public profile.
