The Trinity Railway Express (TRE) commuter train connects the downtown areas of Dallas and Fort Worth, with stops in the Mid-Cities and DFW Airport. Trains operate Monday through Saturday.

Fares

Travel on the TRE between Union Station and CentrePort/DFW Airport Station or between Fort Worth T&P Station and CentrePort/DFW Airport Station requires a Local (1 Zone) fare. Travel on the TRE that crosses the fare zone boundary of CentrePort/DFW Airport Station requires a Regional fare.

Metro ArlingtonXpress (MAX)

On Monday, August 19, 2013, service began on a two-year contract between the city of Arlington and DART and the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) to provide nonstop bus service between the University of Texas at Arlington's College Park District and the CentrePort/DFW Airport Station of the Trinity Railway Express. The service, called the Metro Arlington Xpress (MAX), operates Monday through Friday from approximately 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Further information on this service may be obtained from www.ridethemax.com or DART.org under Express Bus Route 221.
