Standards Review and Recommendations Publications (SRRPUB)

Some SRRPUBs are intended to be used as guidance by Texas state agencies and institutions of higher education and do not mandate any particular action. Others may be issued as the first step in the adoption by rule of specific standards. The standards may be from formal international/national standards organizations (e.g., ISO, ANSI or IEEE), a process (best practice), or a combination (e.g., §206). In some cases we may adopt a guideline by rule (e.g., §203 and the Guidelines for the Management of Electronic Transactions and Signed Records).
