Arlington Sam Houston quarterback Jamal Turner is one of eight Dallas-area players on Rivals.com's latest 250 list to watch for 2011. That list also includes another quarterback, a running back, four wide receivers and a linebacker.
Texas has never been short on producing first-class high school football talent, like Tevin Jackson and Adrian Phillips (pictured left). And this 2010 class is no exception. Rivals.com revealed its position-by-position rankings this week, and some familiar Texas faces helped their respective schools achieve high marks.
After making 88 tackles during the regular season and helping Skyline reach the Class 5A Division I Region II semifinals, linebacker Anthony Wallace is the top area recruit in the Class of 2011, already being pursued by the nation's elite.

North Texas’ coaching staff apparently was pretty impressed with what he accomplished in just a few games at the position. Johnson orally committed to UNT over the weekend after cancelling a visit to Texas State and ending a wild recruiting process. Oral commitments are non-binding.
