Texas advances, will meet Baylor in quarterfinals

The NCAA has given Texas and Maryland a one-year reprieve from a new rule that limits off-campus football recruiting by a coach designated as the head coach-in-waiting.

Texas' Muschamp gets year to recruit as an assistant
The NCAA is allowing a one-year grace period since it imposed a rule that forces coaches-in-waiting, like Muschamp, to be saddled with the same recruiting restrictions as head coaches, according to a report.
