Indianapolis president Bill Polian was upset the NFL was making his Pro Bowl players fly in for the all-star game in Miami Gardens a day before their teammates because it messed with the team's schedule.

Bob Kap, innovator in kicking approach who helped bring soccer style to NFL, dies
Every time a kicker does the lineup shuffle of two steps back and two steps to the side, think of Bob Kap. Kap had a decided impact on football in general and the Dallas. He died in his sleep Saturday in Ottawa, Ontario. He was 87. Cowboys in particular.
