Johnson, 35, is now at the Dallas County Jail on a murder charge in Lane's death. Police say the 22-year-old mother of three was stabbed multiple times at her Red Bird apartment. Her young children were home at the time of her brutal killing. At least one of them, a 3-year-old child, witnessed the attack. Below is the affidavit for arrest warrant and the terms of probation in Johnson's prior family violence case involving Lane. You can also view the affidavit for arrest warrant in the murder case here. E-mail entry: |
This is a sad story destined to repeat itself time and time again. To some extent, it repeats itself every day because probationers incessantly offended while on probation. Judges do little to nothing to keep you safe.

DMN, you want a juicy investigative story? Look at the number of crimes committed by people while on probation. Look at the number of probationers who are kept on probation despite scores of violations.
To the Dallas County citizens: if you knew how much a probationer gets away with while on felony probation, you would be sick to your stomach.
How come the Dallas NewsPapers do not EVER put the Judges names from these cases? I do not understand that? Start doing that and we might see some accountability ..
