Election ‘part of job’ for Burgess

U.S. Rep. Michael Burgess defeated Republican primary opponent James Herford Tuesday to move on to the November general election. Herford said one reason he ran was to take back the country, but in the end he could not take the District 26 seat away from Burgess, R-Lewisville, who defeated him in a landslide.
