Lewisville, Texas - In honor of National Education's Read Across America Day, Primrose School of Old Orchard celebrated Dr. Seuss' 104th birthday. The Cat in the Hat and Mayor Pro Tem Lathan Watts were guest reader's for our students.
Leading up to this celebration, our student and their families helped collect 525 books as part of our school's Helping Hands event to donate to Pedi Place.
To close our event, Mr. Watts led our students and teachers in reciting the Reader's Oath developed by NEA. At Primrose School of Old Orchard our goal is to develop a love of reading and to ensure that each child have books easily within their reach.
