Thanks for all your kind comments on my pieces, rayanda! And to answer your question, I find many images in turn-of-the-century printer's catalogs of cuts and ornament, antique source books, etc. I scan and modify them for sharing. You can find many more on my blog if you dig. This project is pieces compiled from a simple vintage deck of cards and the box that held them.
