• A story on Page C10 of Monday's Houston Chronicle incorrectly stated that Chris Wallace homered for the University of Houston in the eighth inning of the Cougars' 9-7 loss to Texas State on Sunday. The home run actually was hit by junior Caleb Ramsey.

• In Saturday's endorsement editorial for Harris County juvenile court benches, comments were incorrectly attributed to David Longoria, the Democratic candidate for the 314th District Court. Those statements were made by another candidate during a meeting with several hopefuls running for juvenile benches.

• U.S. wrestler Rulon Gardner, who won gold in the 2000 Olympics, grew up in Wyoming. The state was wrong in a chart on Page A1 of Monday's editions.
