Suspicious visitor leads to lockdown in school

Mayde Creek High School in Katy ISD went into lockdown this morning and was searched after officials discovered a visitor did not report in the area she was authorized to visit on school grounds.

Are you secure with the procedures Katy ISD has in place for screening visitors?

Deputy charged with selling background info

A Harris County sheriff's deputy was arrested today on a charge he sold criminal background information for profit. Kurt Douglas Green, 42, of Hockley, was arrested by federal authorities on a sealed indictment accusing him of disclosing confidential law enforcement information for profit.
