The Flood Warning continues for
the Trinity River near Moss Bluff...
* until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1030 am Thursday... the stage was 16.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* The flooding level is 15.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue to fall but stay above flood level
through Tuesday.

* until late Saturday night or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1115 am Thursday... the stage was 27.1 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* The flooding level is 26.0 feet.
* Continue a slow fall to around flood level Saturday and hold.
* At 27.0 feet... moderate lowland flooding begins as roads into several outlying
communities above Liberty are closed with residents in 5 or 6 subdivisions cut
off if not evacuated.

Statement as of 7:23 am CST on February 25, 2010

... Elevated fire weather conditions this afternoon and Friday
afternoon mainly across the Rio Grande plains...

Southerly winds will increase today with 20 foot wind speeds of
15 to 20 mph this afternoon. Relative humidities will fall to 20
to 25 percent across the Rio Grande plains and 25 to 35 percent
across the rest of south central Texas and The Hill Country. Winds
will subside this evening as humidities recover above 60 percent.

A cold front will approach the area late tonight... pushing through
The Hill Country and south central Texas Friday morning. Drier
northwest 20 foot winds of 15 to 20 mph will develop by Friday
afternoon.. humidities will again fall to 20 to 25 percent across
the Rio Grande plains.

Humidities will gradually recover Saturday night into Sunday as
return flow off the Gulf brings higher humidities back to the
region.
