SURPRISE, Ariz. - Rangers GM Jon Daniels issued a brief statement this morning on the Khalil Greene situation, saying the club would "leave the door open" for a continued relationship if and when Greene is ready to return to baseball. Flip for the full statement:
SURPRISE, Ariz. - The Rangers' prayers are with infielder Khalil Greene, who is once again battling the demons associated with Social Anxiety Disorder. Their thoughts, however, have to remain with the club.
Infielder Khalil Greene, slated to be the Rangers' utility man, will not report to camp on Tuesday because he is once again dealing with social anxiety disorder, FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reported late Sunday. February 21, 2010
