    The Lago Vista City Council voted 5-1 to begin the process to purchase Highland Lakes Golf Course at its regular meeting Jan. 21. The Council said the city intends to purchase the 120-acre, 18-hole course and the equipment required to operate it, excluding the clubhouse property.
