$1 billion DFW Connector project will ease Grapevine highway mess, but the work will be painful
Construction crews began work Wednesday on an enormously complex $1 billion highway project in Grapevine that will eventually smooth the daily commutes for hundreds of thousands of North Texas drivers weary of the constant sight of taillights.

Irving official to lead Denton transit agency
The Denton County Transportation Authority named Irving official Jim Cline the agency's new president Tuesday. Cline joined Irving in 1998 and has spent much of his time as the city's public works director. In that role, he worked extensively on DART's planned light-rail Orange Line, which will connect downtown Dallas to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport through Irving.

Dramatic transportation changes are in the works for 2011 Superbowl
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Super Bowl events next year will require a dramatic but temporary overhaul of parts of the North Texas transportation system, including a temporary rail station in Arlington and changes to highway lanes.
