There seemed to be a movement in the last week during all the Super Bowl hoopla to coronate the Colts' Peyton Manning as the greatest quarterback of all time. Slow down a second, writes Rick Gosselin.

A slight edge for Colts
They carry with them the hopes of a city that nearly died and a region that remains a long way from full recovery. They wear the trademark of a franchise that has known mostly suffering and humiliation, not the celebration of a championship season.
