Photo Gallery automatically finds the people in your photos so you can add a name to the face. Then later, all you need to do is type in someone’s name to see all the photos of that person.

See your friends’ photos too

See new photos from the people you’ve added to your Windows Live network. Photo Gallery shows you any new shots they’ve shared with you on Windows Live.

Your best shots, even better

Adjust exposure, color, or detail by hand, or use auto adjust—either way, your photos look great. You can even create amazing panoramas—Photo Gallery stitches several photos together in just one click.

Depending on how your computer is set up, you may see a few security messages before installation begins.

Where you see a company or publisher listed in a security message, make sure the company name is Microsoft Corporation. If so, then it is safe to click Run, Continue, or Allow.
The installer will open. Select the programs you want to install*, and then click Next.
*Previously installed Windows Live programs will also be updated if you don't have the latest versions installed yet.
Sit back and relax, or do other things on your computer while you wait. Installation shouldn't take more than a few minutes on a broadband connection.
When it's done, you'll find your new programs in the Windows Live folder on the Windows Start menu.
