Leadership Team


Hooman Radfar Hooman Radfar, CEO & Co-founder

Hooman actively drives platform marketing and strategy initiatives at Clearspring. He was recently named one of Tech's Best Entrepreneurs in BusinessWeek and was nominated for Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year. When he is not busy building a better web, you can find him writing his blog Widgify. Radfar graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Economics and Computer Science. He holds an M.S. from Carnegie Mellon University where he researched Social Networking Theory.


Stewart Allen Stewart Allen, CTO

Stewart leads platform development efforts at Clearspring and is responsible for Clearspring's platform design and implementation. He has been an early or founding member, of six technology start-ups. Most recently, he was CTO and VP Engineering at WebMethods. His work has led to the foundational web standards such as XML-RPC and SOAP, laying the groundwork for Web 2.0.


Peggy Fry Peggy Fry, Senior Vice President, Media Services

Peggy brings a great deal of executive-level experience to Clearspring, where she is responsible for managing the Media Services team. Prior to joining Clearspring, Peggy was vice president of Ad Sales for Netflix, where she developed and launched an online and offline targeted advertising platform for the entertainment community. Peggy has also served as president of Smashing Entertainment and vice president of interactive marketing for the AOL Entertainment Group at America Online.


Joel Pulliam Joel Pulliam, VP Product Development

Joel contributes years of product experience to Clearspring, having managed dozens of products used by millions of consumers and businesses for AOL, MCI and IBM. Joel was most recently Vice President of Product Marketing at AOL, where he was responsible for a varied portfolio of products. In a prior life, Joel was part of the Bechtel engineering team that designed and built the last nuclear power plant commissioned in the US.


Will Meyer Will Meyer, VP Engineering

Will leads Clearspring's software engineering group. He has a wide range of experience leading software teams in both consumer and enterprise markets, and has enjoyed being a part of several successful startups as a developer, technical advisor, and head of engineering. Most recently, Will was responsible for the open API strategy at Sprint, leading the mobile architecture for a major consumer website, and building a mobile enterprise startup from inception to acquisition. He is a dad and a transplanted New Yorker.
