Work Session 1 took place on the UNT campus on March 22nd and 23rd, 2004.  The session included a series of interviews / discussions with the University Administration and staff as well as representatives from the City of Denton.  It also included the first in a series of public open forum meetings that will be held with members of the local community during the planning process.  In addition to the meetings, the consultant team also carried out field work and information gathering important for the development of the plan.

The intent of the work session included:

•  identification of major planning issues
•  goals and objectives for the planning process
•  review of the academic and strategic objectives for the University

Work Session 2 was held April 26th through 28th.  The session focussed on the existing conditions analysis of the campus and preliminary concepts for future development.

Work Session 3

Work Session 3 was held June 30th through July 1st. The work session focussed on alternatives for land use, open space and circulation for the campus.
